Diyala Al-Khalili is a Russian-Syrian journalist and political correspondent for Asharq News, based in Dubai. Al-Khalili was relocated to Moscow in late February to cover the Russian invasion and the war in Ukraine.

Prior to joining Asharq News, Al-Khalili was a journalist for RT Arabic from 2011 to 2019.
