“Choose or Die” is a horror movie about a cursed 1980s video game. A hard-up student plays the obscure survival game in the hopes of winning a $100,000 prize that has never been claimed. After a series of unexpectedly terrifying experiences, she begins to realize she is not only playing for the money but for her life.

The film was on the Netflix top 10 in Saudi Arabia for three weeks in a row. On review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 30 percent of 40 reviews by critics are positive about the movie, which has an average rating of 5/10. Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a score of 43 out of 100, based on reviews by 13 critics.
