Saudi National Bank, also known as AlAhli Bank, is the largest financial institution in Saudi Arabia and one of the biggest finance powerhouses of the region. SNB is a new entrant on the Brand Finance Middle East 150 as the fifth most valuable banking brand in the Middle East with a value of $3.17 billion. 

It is predicted that SNB will overtake Emirates NBD and First Abu Dhabi bank in next year’s Brand Finance list as it continues to invest heavily to build brand strength.

Founded in 1953 as the National Commercial Bank, it merged with Samba Financial Group in April 2021 and was renamed Saudi National Bank.

Following the merger, SNB has emerged as a banking champion in the Middle East and North Africa region.

SNB plays a vital role in supporting economic transformation in Saudi Arabia by transforming the local banking sector.

A new entrant on the Brand Finance Banking 500, SNB has been ranked among the world’s top 100 most valuable banking brands by the annual Brand Finance report.

SNB was the highest ranked of 30 newcomers to the list this year. A brand value of $3.2 billion earned it the 94th position globally and sixth place among institutions based in the Middle East and North Africa. Qatar National Bank retained top spot among the region’s banking brands.
